We Can't Stop... But We Should

          I've been busy with the store recently and I have family in town, so I haven't had a lot of time to genuinely think of any MIND-BLOWING posts.  I always have my phone with me, so when I think of any post ideas I write them in the 'notes' section of my Iphone.  Tonight, I looked at the mightily long list and didn't find anything that really spoke to me, so I decided to check out YouTube and look for some inspiration.  I found it in my recommendations (Thanks YouTube!).

          Anyway, today I want to talk about Miss. Miley Cyrus.  You may be thinking of the cute, brown-haired girl who had her own TV Show on Disney Channel where she doubled as a blonde-haired pop star.  No, I'm talking about the recent Miley Cyrus who has short, blonde hair and enjoys twerking.  Not going to lie to you, I wasn't too freaked when she cut her hair.  Personal Choice!  What surprised me was when her and Liam's (Liam and her's? Bleh...) marriage ended.  WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE THAT SEXY PIECE  OF HUMAN?!  That's all I'm asking...

          Miley recently released her new single "We Can't Stop".  When I first heard the audio, I have to agree that it has a nice beat to it.  I don't usually listen to my 'party music' for the lyrics or the meaning.  If it has a sick beat, I'm going to be a happy camper.  The song has made it onto my playlist.  The music video... HAS NOT!  That is not a family-approved video.  Just... No...

          If you've read before, you'll know that I'm not hating on Miley Cyrus at all.  I pride myself on being classy and civil in my reviews.  However, I'm also going to be honest: I feel like I need to take a shower after this.  #1: What's with her on the bed?  I don't even want to talk about what it looks like she's 'experiencing'.  #2:  I'm going to have nightmares because of the freaky taxidermy projects.  I wonder if any animal well-fare groups have protested this?  #3: I want one of those bear 'bookbag' things!  CHRISTMAS LIST!

          It's hard to believe that she's gone from Hannah Montana to this, but I also kind of understand it.  Breaking away from Disney Channel is a hard thing to do.  She had to do something to make her seem grown-up.  Personally, I think it was a bit much, but it got the job done!  Love the song, hate the video.  What do you think of it all?
