What's in my Luggage? 4/15/2013

1.  Struck By Lightning by Chris Colfer.  I recently picked up this book while on a Shopko trip with my roommate.  Like usual, she yelled at me for buying a book when I had a bunch of unread books at home.  However, the fact that CHRIS COLFER himself wrote this book made it worth it.  I've only read about 25% and I'm already in love!  I won't give anything away because I'll write a review on it later, but it's turning out to be a great book!

2. Garnier Cleansing Towelettes.  I've always just stuck with water to wash off my makeup because I hate the burning sensation that comes along with a lot of removers.  I decided to take a chance, though, and have fallen in love with these.  They are very safe for the skin and perfect for people with sensitive skin.  I don't wear a lot of makeup so it works well, but they don't remove heavy mascara and eyeliner very efficiently.

3. Splat Hair Color.  I decided to be a little rebellious this week and died a strip of my hair bright pink!  It turned out awesome, and I don't regret adding a little fun to my life.

4. Nabisco 1D VIP Correspondent.  The One Direction North American Tour is sponsored by Nabisco.  If you don't know who Nabisco is, they are the creators of Oreos, Teddy Grahams, Chips Ahoy  and a large amount of other tasty snacks.  Nabisco is currently looking for a VIP Correspondent who will get the backstage experience for the fans through photography and videography.  Basically, I would get to travel all around the US and strengthen my communication skills through the experience.  To 'audition' I had to write 2 kick-ass essays and make a video explaining the "One Thing" that made me the perfect correspondent.  As you can tell by the 2nd picture, the video was pretty bad-ass too.
