I'D SMILE MORE...
I WOULDN'T OVERREACT... I actually ruined a few really good friendships due to this problem. I'd do anything to go back and think before acting.
I'D TAKE MORE PICTURES...
I want to kick myself every time I try to find pictures of my grandma and I. I wish I would've treasured the time with the TRUE her and captured it.
I WOULDN'T FALL ASLEEP...
At my Junior-year after-prom, we hired a hypnotist. Don't get me wrong, he was HILARIOUS, but I'm not a late-night person. It was around 2 or 3 in the morning, and my eyelids were getting heavy. To keep a very long, embarrassing story short; I became hypnotized, stood up in front of my entire student body, hip-thrusted, and screamed 'Man, Hypnosis Rocks!!". Let it be known, that I was not known as a very 'loud' person at my school. Let's just say that I surprised quite a few people with my actions. I was so embarrassed that I ended up crying myself to sleep that night (I think the fact that it was like 5 a.m. contributed to the crying).
I'D SPEND MORE TIME WITH MY FAMILY...
I've always been close with both of my parents, but this last summer my mom and I have become like best friends and my dad and I have always been close. I wish I would have spent a lot more time with them during my high school years. I won't admit this to their faces, but it's going to be real tough leaving them behind when I move into school.
What would you do if you could turn back time?
P.S. You can find me somewhere else today! I wrote a guest-post for Paulina at Discovering Simply Me! If you remember, she wrote a post here last week. If you want to see a bunch of silly pictures from my Dasani Drops 'photo-shoot', I'd head that way!
I love this post, Lizzy! I think it's a recurring theme in almost everyone's life to want to spend more time with their family...
