The Sunshine Award

       Have I ever mentioned how much I love the blogging community?  Well if not then here it goes:  I LOVE IT LIKE A SQUIRREL LOVES NUTS!!!!!!  The people I've met throughout this community have become my friends, and I can't wait to continue meeting more and more people.  One of my friends who I LOVE to follow is Paige from The Sticky Note Addict.  I actually discovered Paige's blog very early into my blogging journey and have followed her ever since.  Paige, bless her heart, nominated me for The Sunshine Award which is for bloggers who bring sunshine to people's lives.  I feel truly blessed to have been nominated, and I can't wait to answer Paige's awesome questions!

1// If you could only watch one TV Show for the rest of your life, which one would it be?

         I'm going to chose The Voice for this one.  I'm absolutely obsessed with this show, and I don't think I could live without my weekly dose of Adam Levine Cuteness :)

2// Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

         I'd like to be doing something in broadcasting and journalism.  Currently, I'm just trying to survive college.

3// What is your number one favorite pair of shoes?

         About 4 years ago I purchased a pair of brown Rocketdog boots.  In their prime, they were very cute and stylin', but after awhile they started to get holes from my wearing them so often.  I was not about to let my shoes die, however; I used the God-sent duck-tape and fixed the shoes!  And yes, I wore them probably more than I should have, but I don't care! They were comfortable :)  Sadly, I think my mom threw them away because she hated that I wore them.  I WANT THEM BACK!

4// Are you a planner or a winger?

         If you mean blogging, then I'm a winger.  Sadly, I have to put blogging in the backseat to academics and other college stuff.  However, I feel like I'm still doing a pretty good job :)

5// What is one thing you could not live without?

         I could not live without Oreos.  Seriously though... Life without Oreos is like single life without Netflix.

6// Where is your favorite place in the world?

          Honestly??? I love Barnes and Noble with a passion.  I could spend my entire day walking through the rows of shelves and reading in the café.  Anytime I feel like I'm at the end of my rope, I just take the quick drive down to the book store for a nice relaxing hour.

7// What's the best Halloween movie ever, in your opinion?

         Personally, I'm not a big fan of anything "Halloween" other than cute little kids dressed-up like superheroes.  If I had to chose, however, I would definitely go for Hocus Pocus.

8// When did you start blogging, and why?

         I started blogging about a year ago, because I needed some sort of outlet for all of my crazy thoughts.  It was recommended that I start writing, and I just got to the point that I wanted to share with others!

9// Do you prefer warm weather or cold weather?

         I absolutely loathe cold weather.  Anything cold just pushes my mood down :(.  If there was a planet that had Spring weather all-year-round, I would be a happy camper.

10// If you had a big project coming up, when would you start it? The night before or way in advance?

         I start the night the project is assigned.  If I can get the project done a week before the due date, then my stress level will never go overboard.  As soon as I have to do any substantial work in the week before, I start to panic.  The sooner I can get done, the better.

11// What is your favorite silly pop song of the moment?

         I don't really know how to interpret the word 'silly'.  Personally, anything that gets frustratedly stuck in my head is a 'silly' pop song.  I cannot stop singing and obnoxiously dancing to Sara Bareilles' "Brave".  That doesn't mean I hate it, though.  I absolutely love the song, but it has a very catchy tune that always seems to stay in my head for days.  Whenever I hear it I have the strong urge to stand-up and dance.... It takes a lot of self-control.
