I first received the Mary Kay Beauty VoxBox last year, and I was really excited to receive the recent Varsity VoxBox too!
I received some really great products in this box. Some I love and some I probably won't buy again. However, that is the point of these boxes: to share with you my thoughts on them. So, let's get started!
Tide Pods: I only received one of these, but I can easily say that they're kind of the coolest things ever. One pod = One laundry load. For someone who stresses over how much detergent I need, this is a lifesaver.
Clearasil Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Wash: I was super excited to use this wash. Biggest reason? It smelled great! Did it meet my expectations? Absolutely not. I was surprised to find that the wash actually made my face burn and feel really dry. After using this the night before, my face still hurt the next morning. I don't know if I just had a bad reaction to it or not, but I definitely won't be buying more.
NYC Bold Big Lip Gloss: I've never been a huge fan of lip gloss, and the feelings were intensified with this product. It wasn't awful, but I probably won't use it very often. First, it didn't smell good... like at all. Second, it was just really bulky on my lips and made it feel like I had food smeared all over my face. I'm thinking this was just the 'plumping' aspect of the gloss, but I did not enjoy it.
Kiss Nail Dress: I rarely ever put anything on my nails. The only true reason I even paint my nails is to stop myself from destroying chewing them during a stressful week. To be completely honest, I have not used these yet, but I'm going to look a little into the future here and say they won't work. Not because of the product, but because I do not have the talent to do things like this on my nails. If the finished product is anything amazing, I'll be sure to share on Instagram.
AirHeads Xtremes Bites: As you can see by the empty bag, my roommates and I thoroughly enjoyed these. They're very yummy, and much cleaner to eat than their 'belt-style' partners. I plan to buy more bags of these, and eat them all... guilt-free...
