5 for 5

          Time for my weekly 5 for 5 link-up with Jenn and Jessica.  I love this link-up because it holds me accountable to actually get something done each week.  First, let's look at what I got accomplished last week:

1.  Comment on 10 blogs: This may just be too big of a goal for me.  I commented on a couple last night, but I also learned that I was a no-reply blogger!  This meant that people couldn't reply to my comments!  I had no idea until Paige from The Sticky Note Addict emailed me about it!  I would definitely recommend for everyone to double-check! (Learn how to fix that here) Thanks Paige!

2.  Become more active on my own blog: I think we can all agree that I've done a pretty good job with staying active this last week.  I don't know if this is because I have more free time, or because I'm starting to develop my 'niche'.  Whichever it is: I hope it sticks!

3.  Do at least ONE Pinterest project (and blog about it): One Word: FAIL

4.  Update my Facebook Page:  Finally got this up-and-running.  You can find that here.

5.  Get a T-shirt Shop set-up in my blog:  I decided I didn't want to do this; mainly because I'm in the process of trying to grow my blog and find my 'niche'.  Along with that, I'm also trying to grow my following on YouTube.  You can subscribe to my channel here.  I'll talk more about my channel below.

          This next week will be a little hectic.  My mom and brother are leaving to visit my grandma in Virginia on Thursday.  I don't get to go because I got to go when I was a sophomore in high school.  This means that my dad and I are in-charge of running the store.  I'm kind of worried about running the store and doing embroidery all by myself, since my dad does screen printing at home.  Some days the store can get really busy, and we all know I don't handle stress very well.  

1.  Write 5 Reviews for Influenster: I found this recently (while checking out various blogs) and have fallen in love.  You gain Influence Points when you write reviews, so I definitely need to start doing that.

2.  Go For A Walk Everyday:  Ugh... Exercise!  I absolutely hate it, but do you know what I hate even more? Feeling Lazy.  I really need to get moving and get healthy.

3.  Update YouTube Vlog:  I recently decided to start work on a YouTube vlog.  I'll be talking about the things that are in (and not in) my 'luggage' each week.  I'm also thinking of doing different challenges and things like that with friends, but I'm still in the works of developing that 'niche'.  If you have any recommendations, don't hesitate to let me know!

4.  Try a New Recipe: I have recently pinned a large amount of recipes to my Pinterest board and I need to try one or two this next week.  Cooking and baking is a way for me to work-off stress, and I definitely need all the help I can get.

5.  Finish My Book and Write a Review: I'm still in the process of reading Perks of a Wallflower, and my hope is to finish it this week and let you know what I thought of it.  One tip: don't expect a fast read after you've watched the movie.

  1. I have pinned so many recipes and projects that I want to try but thats as far as I have gotten. I hope that one day I can finally try something out on there because from what I have tried so far, I failed miserably on :/
