Easy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Recipe

I have a lot of really cool ideas for blog posts, but for some reason none of the topics are 'speaking' to me tonight.  I've had really bad writers' block for the last two days, which makes me feel like crap.  Honestly though, I feel like it's an actual illness.  I've had a pretty yucky last few days.  I've really enjoyed seeing my cousins and hanging out with them, but for some reason; when I have writers' block, the world might as well end.  My day also didn't get any better when I had a random panic attack before dinner (that sucked).  Then I see Samantha from Life is But a Stream of Thoughts, and she managed to post like 3 times in the first 24 hours of her trip to Rome (which is awesome by the way: check it out).  I finally decided that before I go to bed I will at least SHARE with you something I've recently found and tried and loved.

I don't cook a lot, but when I'm in the mood: I'm like Gordon Ramsay.... Okay, that's a little of an overstatement, but I do like to cook every-so-often.  About a week ago I cooked dinner for my Mom, Brother, Aunt, and Uncle.  I made a VERY EASY Garlic Parmesan Chicken that was divine!  When I say easy; I mean like 10 minute preparation easy (maybe eve 7.5 min).  Not only was it easy; it tasted amazing!  I'd never made an entree dish, but this is now my go-to meal.  Enjoy and don't forget to let me know if you try it (and pin it).

Ingredients
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

1)  Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

2)  In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cheese, dressing mix, and garlic powder.

3)  After rinsing chicken with water; coat the chicken with cheese, dressing, and garlic mix.

If wanted, you can make extra of this.  The more mix you put on the chicken the better :D

5)  Place the chicken in lightly greased baking dish.

6)  Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is done.

7)  Eat and Enjoy

8)  Come back and tell Lizzy you loved it! :D

  1. I totally get what you mean with the whole writer's block thing. I had it yesterday and stared at my screen for what seemed like forever before finally giving up and deciding it just wasn't meant to be for that. I'm hoping the block goes away today so I can write.

I'll have to check out your recipe, I love to cook and my mom's favorite food is chicken parm.
