Old School Blogging

Last night, while I was attempting to pack and blog simultaneously, I came to the realization that I didn't have any posts prepared for today.  This last weekend was absolutely crazy and left no room for week-long planning, and this next weekend will be the same way.  So when I finally sat down to write a post for today, I couldn't seem to get any inspiration!  I have a HUGE list of posts that I want to write, but I'm a person who needs to be COMPLETELY into a post before I write one.  For some reason, none of the topics stood out, and I didn't want to bore you guys with a half-ass post.  Lucky for you (and me), I gained a new blog friend, Caroline, who recently participated in the Old School Blogging Link-Up co-hosted by Elaine and Alison.  This post has to do with the Crazy Fives!

5 Things I Have A Passion For

1. Public Speaking: I love the thought of being able to stand in front of a crowd, and use my words to move them to action. (Quick Note: I actually wrote a speech about passion when I was on the speech team my senior year!)

2. Reading: I have a huge imagination, and I love being able to enter my own little world.

3. Writing: I never thought I'd be passionate about this, but it has become one of my favorite things.

4. Working with Celebrities to Make a Change: This is something that I've recently been really passionate about.  I've always had a love of making people smile, and I want everyone to realize that they can pass on the love.  A lot of celebrities don't realize the impact that they can make, and I want to be the one to educate them on the difference they can make.

5. Music: Whether it's something with a sick beat or tear-ful lyrics, I have music playing most of the day.

5 Things I Would Like to do Before I Die
(you can find my complete bucket list here)

1. Be on the Ellen Show: She's doing exactly what I want to encourage: making an impact in peoples' lives.  She's seriously one of the funniest, most inspiring women I've seen (other than my mom).

2. Pet a Lion: THEY'RE SO CUTE!

3. Study abroad in England: London 2014 here I come!

4. Plan a massive surprise for someone: Who needs help planning a surprise birthday party?!

5. Learn to Forgive: I've been hurt by a few people in my life that I don't think I'll ever be able to forgive, but I'm working on it.

5 Things I Say A Lot

1. "One Direction": I'm not even going to lie.

2. "That's Freakishly Awesome"

3. "Where's the Stairs?": I'm claustrophobic, so elevators are a no-go.

4. "Can We Be Best Friends?": I say this anytime I find anything in common with someone. ANYTHING.

5. "Who Ate My Oreos?": I don't know why people think it's okay to eat MY Oreos.

5 Books I Have Read Recently

1. The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks

2. The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks (currently reading)

3. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (reread)

4. Struck by Lightning by Chris Colfer (one of the funniest books I've ever read)

5. Dare to Dream: Life as One Direction by One Direction (I'm in the fangirl mood: sue me)

5 Favorite Movies

1. The Outsiders: I had to read the book my freshman year and fell in love with it.

2. The Lion King: My grandma would give me a Disney VHS movie for every occasion.  This one was always my favorite.

This is my grandma and I watching The Lion King at the Nursing Home.
3. Burlesque: My roommate brought this amazing movie into my life, and I have yet to become sick of it.

4. Pitch Perfect: This is one of those movies that I can put in and watch anytime.

5. One Direction's "Up All Night" Live Tour DVD: I'm going to their concert in a matter of days... My thoughts are obviously elsewhere.

5 Places I Would Love to Travel To

1. LONDON: This has clearly become an obsession of mine.

2. Ireland: A group from my school visited there this summer and the pictures look amazing.

3. Rome: I think this has to do something with Samantha and her pictures of the Trevi Fountain.

4. Paris

5. Los Angeles, California: I've wanted to go there forever, but no one else in my family wants to.  I'm gonna be flying solo.

  1. I want to be on Ellen too so badly. A friend of mine went during 25 days of Christmas. I still slightly hate her for it.

And digging the image of the new design. It reminds me I need to change mine cause I'm bored of it.
