The Bounce Back and The Snail Mail Collective

Uh, Oh... I posted twice in one day?!  I'm doing it!  You can't stop me!  Seriously though, I'm sorry for basically spamming you again with another post, but I have two things that are just too exciting not to post today!  First on my list is The Bounce Back:

You'll learn a little later how I got involved with this project, but right now it's time for all of us to fangirl over this handsome hunk of awesome:

If you've never seen Criminal Minds; then you NEED to watch it (right after you're done reading).  First off; it's just amazing.  Second off: SHEMAR MOORE.  That right there is enough of an argument.

However, I am not here to confess my undying love for this ripped baldie.  Nope, I'm here to tell you about an AMAZING venture Shemar has overtaken.  Shemar came across a movie script that he loved and wants all of us to love too!

"The Bounce Back" is a heartfelt romantic comedy about finding the courage to love after love has let you down.

When I read “The Bounce Back” - that very same issue was at the core of the script and the character, Matthew Taylor. I saw a lot of myself in Matthew, although I've never written a book (but I’m thinking about it now, hint, hint). I felt a kindred spirit to what Matthew was going through and my own life. Matthew loses his wife, his first love and after a short recovery creates a best selling book and a system of survival in order to shield himself from the pain.  He throws himself into a year long speaking tour.
That system of survival; his book and speaking tour, keeps him from falling in love again when he meets the perfect girl, the beautiful and zany Kristin Moreland. Matthew realizes that he has to renounce his book and the world he has created around it in order to take the big unknown plunge of letting himself fall in love again.

I think there is a wonderful poetry to that, the idea of risking it all for love. And I feel, in my heart, that is why we’re here on this planet. To love. After I put down the screenplay, “The Bounce Back,” I knew I had to make this movie simply because I believe in love all the way down to the fabric of my being.

Pop Quiz: What do you need to make a movie other than a hunky executive producer?  MONEY!

The Bounce Back film took matters into its own hands to reach their goal of $500,000 by using social media and online media influencers (bloggers).  With the help of a group of bloggers from the Entertainment New Media Network; the film reached and exceeded its goal of $500,000 on Sunday with still 7 days left making it the #4 MOST FUNDED FILM OF ALL TIME USING CROWDFUNDING.  “Mr. Moore was relatively new to social media and didn’t have much of an online presence. He’s one of the most popular (and loved) male actors on television but without online reach, many of his fans would not have known about this rare opportunity to partner with him on this project,” stated Erica I. Pena-Vest, founder of Entertainment New Media Network,” Mr. Moore and the uniqueness of this project are why fans and supporters showed up to help fund this film.  We just told them where to find it”.

Now it's your turn!  Indiegogo has extended our campaign for SIX MORE DAYS!  You know what that means?  By donating, you'll be able to pick out some SWEET perks!  You could get anything from inside scoops to personalized photographs to even tickets to the premiere!  I'm super excited to receive my perk, and I hope you all take advantage of this awesome opportunity to invest in something awesome!           To finish off this post, I'm going to talk about something super exciting that I got to be involved in this month.

This month I participated in the Snail Mail Collective hosted by Melyssa and Chelsea.  Basically I got paired with another blogger, we got to know each-other through email, and then we sent each-other a little 'gift'.

I got paired with a lovely lady named Justynn from Creative Life Antics.  I honestly don't think I could of had a better partner!  She's amazing and the DIY QUEEN!  Seriously though, you need to check out some of the projects she's done; she'll put you to shame.

I had a really good time getting to know her, and I plan to keep our friendship going on past this.  She's been like a big sister during this last month!  Example: After reading this post, Justynn emailed me about the Entertainment New Media Network that is doing some amazing things.  She even went as far to invite me into the group, and now I'm getting involved in something that I'm really passionate about.  She went above and beyond, and I can't thank her enough for that.

Along with that, her 'gift' could not have been more perfect:

Can we all agree that this is perfect for me? Not only did she nail-it with the Oreo, but she also made me feel good about myself!  You should all definitely go check her out at Creative Life Antics and her Facebook and Twitter.  She's amazing, and I'm sure you'll agree!
